BRIDAL SERVICES

We offer complete bridal services for the bride and her wedding party. Our services include a consultation to determine hairstyle and headpiece placement, makeup application, skin treatments and waxing services. Our Coordinators work closely with the bride to arrange dates and times of services and can arrange delivery of catered food to the salon the day of the wedding if desired.

In order to accommodate your needs for this special day, we suggest you begin planning several months before your wedding day. Our services are often booked quite far in advance and it is best if you finalize your service needs early in your planning process and coordinate with our staff.

We require a credit card on file to book any bridal services. To cancel your bridal services, please notify us within 7 business days prior to your appointment. 50% of services will be due without a proper notice. Prices may vary based on length and thickness of hair for anyone receiving a service the day of the wedding.

COMMON WEDDING QUESTIONS…

WHY SHOULD I HAVE A TRIAL APPOINTMENT FOR MY HAIR AND/OR MAKEUP?

The trial is just as important as the day of your wedding. Your stylist can get to know your hair better and learn how to execute the look perfectly for the day of the wedding. We want you to build trust with your stylist and the makeup artist so that on the day of the wedding you are relaxed and confident in your look. Think about how many wedding dresses you had to try on before you found the perfect one! We want you to have that same feeling on the day of your wedding! Plus this will give you the perfect opportunity to give the stylist any feedback when you have already worn the style for a whole day.

Another reason is in case you need any accessories put in your hair; you need to decide where you want your veil placed so the stylist can build support for it in your style. And we can take this time to decide if we need hair extensions and/or hair pieces put in previous to the wedding day. It is important you look and feel perfect!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR MY TRIAL HAIR AND MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?

It’s absolutely critical that you bring the following items to your trial appointment:

Pictures of your wedding dress
Images of the hair and makeup looks that you are considering for your wedding day
Any flowers, veils, tiara, jewels, etc. that you will be wearing in your hair

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE TRIAL AND THE WEDDING DAY APPOINTMENTS?

Make sure you have a zip up or a button up shirt so you don’t have to pull anything over your head once your hair is finished. This will prevent anything from disturbing your finished hair and makeup.

SHOULD I WASH MY HAIR?

We prefer that you wash your hair the night before the Trial and Wedding Day appointments.

WHEN SHOULD I COLOR/CUT MY HAIR?

Hair Color
We don’t recommend doing a dramatic hair color change too close to the wedding date. If you want to be blonde, for example, start this process at least four months prior to your wedding day. This way you will be prepared for any surprises! Then you should only need a refresh color one to two weeks prior to the wedding.

Haircut
If you are wearing your hair up for your wedding, be sure to not cut your hair between the Trial Hair appointment and the Wedding Day. Even the slightest change to hair length can change the overall look of finished Upwork and we cannot guarantee a duplication of your approved Trial Hair Design look if you have changed the length and/or texture of your hair.

IS A PHOTOGRAPHER ALLOWED TO COME TO THE SALON TO TAKE PICTURES?

Absolutely! We know you want to have lots of pictures for your special day. We do ask that the photographer respect the time of the stylist and does not interrupt any services.

WHEN SHOULD I RESERVE MY APPOINTMENTS FOR MY WEDDING DAY?

As soon as you know the date! Wedding season is always a busy season and many are booked years in advance. We suggest that you reserve your appointment times as soon as possible so that we can ensure that we have the proper amount of time booked out for your special day.

WHAT FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGES ARE PROVIDED?

Our salon provides beverages daily such as coffee, tea, water and hot chocolate. We also provide complimentary champagne and/or mimosas for the entire bridal party. If you are interested in having food available the day of the wedding, we do have several breakfast and lunch packages available that we’d be happy to arrange for you at an additional cost.
